MS: Educational Leadership with emphasis in Student/University Relations
My experience is specific to education within three public school systems, three colleges, and one Preschool. Working in other areas also has been important to developing my skills and humanity.
I believe it is important to learn something new, laugh and hug someone each day. I believe there is tremendous value in appreciation of nature in all forms. Creativity is born in exploring, looking at the stars, clouds, waves, trees blowing in the wind and creatures big and small. My philosophy is that students are made for unfolding not molding. At the youngest level, children can be encouraged to be curious, kind, considerate and independent. At more advanced ages, discovery of passion and a global understanding of the world are imperative to positively impact our own and other’s lives.
Formal education is the foundation that will allow discovery relevant to the challenges of the past, present and future. Choices made here and now will direct each of us toward a life path that can bring excitement and an appreciation of a life well-lived.
