- Same place
- Same time
- All supplies present
- A planner used in every class each day is essential to success for EVERYONE.
- No distractions (Television, telephones, electronic devices, other people)
- Multitasking does not allow for attention building
- Review each and every class every night including rewriting notes, if necessary.
- Remember that this is a study time. This is not simply a time to work on what is due the next day.
- Require your child to use the teachers' websites and grade book (go to Synergy Login) to make sure the entries in the planner are correct.
- Use backward planning. If the assignment is due on a specific date, chunk tasks building up to the due date.
